Dippersmoor Manor commands a wonderful position on a knoll outside the village of Kilpeck at the end of the Golden Valley in the unspoilt countryside of South Herefordshire offering luxury bed and breakfast accommodation. The house is set in one and a half acres of garden and surrounded by 200 acres of its own farmland and woods. This provides opportunities for some spectacular walks with stunning panoramic views over the Black Mountains. Depending on the time of year these might include routes through bluebell woods and blossoming orchards.
Your hosts, Hexie and Amanda, have made Dippersmoor their family home. They have lived here for over thirty years. The creation of the garden and maintenance of this very unusual house have been their life’s work.
We are in the heart of the superb walking and cycling country of The Marches and Offa's Dyke, and there are many historic castles, National Trust properties, gardens and churches to visit in the area. Situated between Hereford (8 miles) and Abergavenny (14 miles), Hereford Cathedral boasts its famous Mappa Mundi and unique Chained Library. Hay-on-Wye is a short drive away at the other end of the scenic Golden Valley. Hay is internationally known for its literary festival.
